Perfect BVE for PlayBox

BVE 2009 was an excellent show for PlayBox Technology. With the previous London-based shows somewhat production oriented, PlayBox Technology was sceptical about the outcome of exhibiting at BVE 2009. Don Ash, Director, Sales, says “This was perfect for PlayBox Technology and we have already booked a bigger and better stand for next year. Everyone from start-up channels to the big name broadcasters made a beeline for our stand. They weren’t there just to see what’s new but wanted to talk about specific projects.” The Unattended Remote Playout via internet, nicknamed FoxBox, attracted a great deal of attention.

With PlayBox Technology offering 100% of the functionality at 25% of the price, potential clients wanted to see PlayBox Technology solutions in detail for themselves. This kept the demonstration team busy throughout the event showing all the SD, HD and DVB (ASI/IP) streaming solutions.

Broadcast Video Expo, held at Earls Court 2, was a new show that combined two previous exhibitions and is now the only big broadcast show in London. Besides there being over 300 exhibitors, there were also many seminars and other presentations taking place,
