Play Your Part PlayBox Technology

LONDON, UK, 06/05/21 – As part of their Play Your Part campaign, PlayBox Technology is proud to be taking part in the MyMarathon initiative to support the British Heart Foundation (BHF) this June.

The vital work that the BHF carries out is a cause that is close to the heart of the company, and the month of June will see members of the PlayBox team take on 26.2 miles (42km) to fundraise and raise awareness for heart and circulatory diseases. The event is focused on making marathons more accessible by allowing participants to complete 26 miles of total running distance in whatever increments they see fit – whether it be all in one go, or spread out over the 4 weeks of June.

“As a team, we’re really excited to take part in MyMarathon this year. MyMarathon allows you to run 26 miles in whichever way you choose, which ensures that people of any skill and ability can take part and make a difference” adds Neil Thacker, Go to Market Manager at PlayBox Technology. “At PlayBox Technology, we’re committed to doing everything we can to support causes that we care about – and that’s where Play Your Part comes in. It’s our way of getting the team together and involved in beneficial activities that ultimately make the world a better place, as well as encouraging our stakeholders to play their part”.

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) was formed in 1961 by medical professionals who were concerned about the increasing death rate from cardiovascular disease. Now, the BHF is one of the leading organisations funding cardiovascular research and education. To meet its aims, the BHF largely depends on voluntary donations – making initiatives like MyMarathon even more important to get involved with.

Feel free to support the PlayBox team and get involved with MyMarathon this year to support the British Heart Foundation!
