Largest European HD TV Installation – 16 channels in Trocadero

PlayBox Technology HD Systems have been chosen by Cineaqua to playout 16 programme channels on 8 Dual Channel AirBox HD Servers to distribute HD movies to theatres and different display points around the leisure centre. This centre is themed on a salt water fish aquarium that also has an HD production centre, a large convention/event area and a Japanese restaurant. It is situated in the gardens of Trocadero that are on the right bank in front of the Eiffel tower.

The PlayBox Technology HD Systems were supplied by Systemes Audiofrequence Videonique (SAV) and Installed by by systems integrator Axians. The PlayBox Technology system comprises of 16 channels of AirBox HD playout from one master control centre.

The System went “Live” on the 5th of June 2006.
