PlayBox Technology reports a well-attended and highly successful Broadcast Video Expo 2014, held at the ExCel exhibition centre in London. Key staff at the show included Don Ash, Ben Gunkel, Ananth Sam, Alan Bunting, Phillip Neighbour, Maurice de Jonghe, Mike Timmis and Jonathan Baker.

Exhibiting on the biggest BVE stand in its history 84 square metres, PlayBox Technology demonstrated its integrated portfolio of channel-in-a-box products and introduced the new ProductionAirBox. Complementing the established NewsRoomBox production system, Production AirBox allows switchover from one clip to another with practically zero latency.
"The new stand was 30 per cent larger than our BVE 2013 exhibit," comments UK Sales Director Ben Gunkel. "Its size, open-access design and front-of-hall position all combined to reinforce our message that PlayBox Technology is the global market leader in channel-branding and playout systems. Visitor levels were good on all three days of BVE 2014.
"We had a productive schedule of meetings with new and existing clients including senior people from all the major UK television channels. They appreciated the ability to sit down, and relax in one-to-one discussions over coffee with members of our sales and engineering-support teams.
"Interest in our broadcast systems capability continues to grow, going beyond the scope of traditional channel-in-a-box products. This aspect of our business has great development potential as television itself expands into new application areas."
