PlayBox Technology showcased its latest products and developments at NAB 2013. The show proved to be the right arena to present the new line of web-based solutions starting with Multi Playout Manager (MPM), NewsRoomBox and the star of the show, ScheduleBox.

ScheduleBox is a web-based client/server solution for creation and management of advanced schedules. It operates within a web browser where the user-friendly GUI handles template-based TV broadcast plans, and offers straightforward management of single, or multiple, TV channels.

The solution provides access control based on multiple levels of user rights allowing different people to operate different media or channels remotely.

Programme Schedules with daily, weekly or monthly views and programme block management per TV channel provide monitoring and control of the different block statuses, such as Draft, New, and Ready for publishing. Gaps or Overlaps are also easily identified in the programme blocks.

ScheduleBox is a perfect solution for TV channels that use a block-based program schema. It can operate with multi-format TV channels with predefined and repeated blocks as part of the program schema, and is designed to provide easier control and information gathering as well as better organisation.
