July was a busy month on the broadcast industry show circuit with PlayBox Technology exhibiting at SMPTE 2017 Australia Expo, Sydney and Mediatech Africa.
The company reports very high interest in its CloudAir and PlayBox Neo product ranges. Customers at both exhibitions were able to test full working systems including the latest features.
"PlayBox has long been a trusted partner for many broadcasters and media service providers around the world," comments commented PlayBox Technology President Don Ash. "People, therefore, hope to see us not only at NAB and IBC but also at shows closer to their own centres of operation. SMPTE Australia and Mediatech Africa were both well attended and attracted good visitor levels to our stand, including existing customers and potential new business. Interest in CloudAir was particularly strong both as a standalone system and as a supplement to traditional client-site playout infrastructure. Additions to the PlayBox Neo product series included PlayBox Neo TS Time Delay. This new product takes broadcast playout time delay to a completely new level, allowing UDP/RTP unicast/multicast streams to be delayed by any selected duration from a few seconds to week or more.
