PlayBox Technology announces a new addition to its UK-based team with the appointment of Jonathan Baker as Project Sales Manager. He joins the company from ATG Broadcast where he was active in project and product sales.
PlayBox Technology has successfully completed an extensive turnkey project to provide Antenna Ltd, one of the main television networks in Cyprus, with a complete, all new MCR. Designed, supplied, installed and commissioned by PlayBox Technology, the MCR is now on-air running three sports channels for Cytavision, the TV platform of CYTA. The project, that also included customer training, was completed in conjunction with partner Vavel Netmedia and installed at the Antenna Ltd’s facilities in Nicosia.
PlayBox Technology is boosting its UK sales team with the recruitment of Alan Bunting as Business Development Manager (Channels). He joins the company from Ross Video where he was Regional Sales Manager for Western Europe.
PlayBox Technology has supplied and installed new playout systems for three Christian Television Network stations in the USA. This was delivered as a turnkey project that also included on-site training.
PlayBox Technology has supplied and installed playout facilities for all three of Cambridge Community Television’s channels. These are currently running at SD but can be switched to HD when the channels migrate to the format later this year. The equipment includes three sets of playout and graphics servers together with a two-channel ingest system and a preparation server.
PlayBox Technology has supplied and installed a new playout system for Eurochannel television, an existing customer. The new installation provides a protected remote playout system for the Eurochannel USA and Eurochannel Latin America channels.
