PlayBox Technology has delivered a fully integrated multi-channel DVB workflow solution to Kino Polska in Poland. The SPI group delivers a bouquet of channels for its viewers that include the 9 film channels called FilmBox, as well as FashionBox, FightBox, DocuBox and more, totaling 15 channels. All channels are broadcast in 16:9, most in HD, and are transmitted to Central and Eastern Europe.

London, 28 July 2011 – PlayBox Technology has delivered a complete multichannel playout system for six new television channels based in Tbilisi for the Global Media Group (GMG), the largest cable television broadcaster in Georgia. This turnkey project was managed by PlayBox Technology’s recently formed Broadcast Systems Group in partnership with the systems integrator Qualitron Systems, Finland. The complete system was delivered and in service on time within a short timescale.

The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is a landlocked exclave of Azerbaijan. The region borders Armenia, Iran and Turkey with Nakhchivan its capital. It is believed that Noah’s ark, probably the height of technology at the time, landed there and now, several thousand years later, PlayBox Technology arrived there too.

PlayBox Technology has equipped Kujtesa with eight new TV channels for its Cable TV network. Kujtesa has started broadcasting a bouquet of channels for its viewers that consists of six film channels named K Shqip, (K Albanian, an Albanian movie channel), K Film 1 to K Film 5 (covering different genres) and two documentary channels that are due to be launched shortly.
